Cookie Clicker is the most pointless game ever.  You just keep clicking on a cookie until you get loads of cookies.  It is on the app store for apple or you can find it at http://cookieclicker.us.com.
Clicksmith is a game where you click a lot but it is kind of fun.  You can find it at  http://lonelygolem.com/clicksmith/.

Holiday Traditions

At holiday time my family has traditions.  We go to our grandparent house for Christmas.  Our cousins on my moms side come there and my aunts and uncles.  Usually my immediate family and my uncle Steven and aunt Renee are the last to leave (not including our grandparents who live there).  It is always fun because right before we leave to get there, we celebrate Hanuka, then when we get there we move right into Christmas.  My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving but Christmas is my third (my birthday is second).

Firefox Backgrounds

To have a cool background on firefox you must follow these steps.  Click on the 3 bars at the top right of the page under the X sign.  In that menu click on add-ons.  Look for the themes sectoin and select a theme you want.  Then look up at the tool bar and be amazed.

Vicuñas

A few days ago I was on the Internet and I saw pictures of vicuñas and I noticed that they had really long chest hair.  They look funny standing around with their long necks and chest hair.  They also look kind of cute.  Here is a picture.

When I got my Computer

I was just getting home from my grandparents lake cottage.  We were coming into the driveway.  It was late August and it was starting to get colder outside.  We arrived in the garage and parked the car.  We got out of the car and unlocked the door.  I took off my shoes and walked inside.  BEEP BEEP BEEP! The alarm was ringing.  I disabled the alarm and walked into the family room.
"OMG!" I shouted.
There sitting on the table was a black box with a Lenovo logo on it.

Zombie Apocolypse

"It's not safe here." I said. "We need to leave before they come back."

We walked over to the door and looked through the peep hole.

"All clear." Bob shouted.

We rushed out of the building and watched for any movement.  Splash.  A small stone skittered across a rooftop and fell in a small puddle of water.  We aimed our guns up to the spot that it fell from.  Nothing moved.  Then a zombie fell off the roof and charge at bob.  BANG BANG.  Bob blasted the zombies head off but the zombie kept coming.
"RUN!" I shouted.
We ran down the alley and past the zombies at the corner.  We now had 4 or 5 zombies chasing us and the group was gaining by the minute.
"Over there!" Bob shouted.
We ducked behind a wall and the zombies ran past us.  There was a pharmacy next to us so we went in.  Inside everything was over turned but we had to find medicine.  Medicine would kill zombies because it would start to heal them and make them human.  We found the medicine isle but all of it was gone.

Math

I have a huge math text book and I usually don't have to bring it home because there is an online website with the book on it.  The website is glitching out and I forgot to bring it home, so I will not be able to do my math homework.  It is just so annoying when stuff like this happens.  Now I have to do it tomorrow IF I can remember to bring it home tomorrow.

I can do more about the zombie apocalypse tomorrow if you want.

SLAP!

"Ow!" I shouted.

My cousins and I were playing in our aunt's basement on thanksgiving.  We had 5 cousins there.  3 of them are my dad's brother's kids, and 2 of them were my dad's sister's kids.  My uncle Will had kids named Sam, Tessa, and Alex.  Sam was the oldest and is only five days younger that me.  Tessa is one year younger that me, and Alex is a few years younger than me.  My aunt Dawn had 2 kids that are in collage.  There names were Nicole and Mathew.

"AHH!"

I got knocked down onto a pile of pillows and Alex jumped on me.

"RAR!" he shouted whiled he bashed me with a pillow.  

I rolled away and grabbed a ball.  Then I threw it at Sam as he attacked my little brother Zane.

"I'm bored." Sam complained. "Let's play dodge ball."

"Sure." I said. "This can be the line right here, and we can have equal balls on each side."

We gathered up the balls and distributed them equally while Tessa made the line out of pillows.

"Ready. Set. Go"

We raced to some of the pillows and grabbed them to use as shields.  A ball went whizzing by my head and I ducked.  I looked up and a ball was flying at my face.  I held up the shield and it bounced of harmlessly.

"Huddle!" I shouted while dodging a ball.

Our team formed a little circle with the shields facing outwards.

"We can gather up the balls and store them here and then when we have most of the we can charge and try to get them all out." I said.

We got back into our positions and started gathering all the balls.  Our storage place was behind one of the 2 pillars on our side.  We had 3/4 of the balls and were getting more every minute.  Finally we had almost all of the balls.

"Charge!" I screamed.

We ran the the pillar and grabbed the balls then ran to the line and threw like crazy.  BAM!  Zane was out.  1 to go.  It was Sam.  FWOOSH!  A ball zoomed by my head.  We ran out of balls and now Sam had all the balls.  He chucked them and got Alex out.  It was just Me and Tessa on our team.  Sam chucked the ball at me and I caught it.  We had won!

Google Chrome AdBlock

ARRRGGGHHH!  Another add popped up.  I can't stand these adds.  So I get rid of them.  Ir you are having trouble with adds then you will never have trouble again.

Go to Google Chrome and search up 'chrome store'.  Then click on extensions and search up 'AdBlock'.  There are multiple versions but to make sure there are absolutely no adds then install them all.  They work perfectly and are virus free.  There is standard addition, super, pro, plus, and more.

Next time you run Google Chrome, say goodby to those pesky adds.

Thanks Giving Poem

I am thankful for my computer. It lets me do my school work.

Message Writer

If you ever want to prank your friends so if they open the internet it will open a program that randomly types unicorn, then this is a code that will help you.  Just type in this code into notepad and save as unicorn.vbs.  Save it in the documents folder.

Then you right click it and select create shortcut.  Move the shortcut to the desktop and right click it. Then select properties.  Once you are the properties click on the shortcut tab at the top of the box. Once you are in the shortcut tab click the change icon button.  Select the Internet Explorer icon and then apply it.  Rename the shortcut to Internet Explorer and you are done.

If you want it to be Google Chrome or a different browser then put a different browsers shortcut onto the desktop and go to its properties tab.  Once you are there click change icon and a different list of icons for that browser should show up.  There is a text box at the top of the change icon tab.  Click on it and select all the text, then copy it.  Go back to the unicorn file shortcut and go to its change icon page.  Then click on the text box in that one and paste all of the text from the other browser's icons in it and press enter.  Then those other icons will appear and you can change it and apply it then rename it to Safari or Google Chrome.

To change the words that the program writes just change the part that says Unicorns!!! to the text you want it to be.  Make sure you don't delete the quotation marks or it won't work.  To change the speed at which it types in unicorns then just change the number that says 5000 to a number of your choice.  Do not try to change it to negative numbers though.  Have fun pranking your friends.

Today I got these new totally awesome headphones.  The brand is Microprice and the model is Hi-Fi DJ Style Over the Ear Pro Headphones.  They have soft padding every where and the speakers can swivel in multiple different directions.

VBS If Else Statements

To make an if else statement with VBScript is pretty simple.  First you need to declare your variable, then you need to set your variable, then you use it in the if else statement.  To do this first you declare your variable like this.

Then to set your variable there are multiple options.  You could do       myVar="Tate"         Or you could do          tateVar=inputbox("What is your name?",0,"hi")    Or even other options.

Then you put it into the statement like this.

To put a game on your blog you can either make a new post or a new page which works better.  Then in the editor, you will see to options right next to all the editing tools.  They will say 'Compose' and 'HTML' .  Select the html option and then type this code into the editor.

Coding Rating

My favorite code is batch because there is so much you can do with it and it is fairly easy.  It does not look as professional as languages such as JavaScript or VBScript but it is much easier and looks cool in a different way.  Batch and C++ are some of the only coding languages you can make a good matrix with with out coding something crazy or making a whole app.  HTML is slightly similar to batch because it is so easy but the thing different about them is HTML is used for coding webpages and special non hosted online documents.  Here is a small batch code.  It is called the matrix because of the effect it has on the screen.

Did you see the pop up that asked you what your name was and said hi name.  Today I will teach you how to make it.  It is just some beginner JavaScript with the prompt command and the alert command.  You will want to do this with HTML unless you are using a JavaScript compiler.  For HTML  type

Pickles Attack

BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!  It was my alarm.  I turned it off and sat up.  My cat Pickles was sitting on the floor next to my dresser.  I climbed out of bed.  It was cold without my warm blankets and cover me.  I sat down and put on my close.  I was just finishing putting on my sock when my mom came up the stairs and stuck her head through the railing.  "Coming?" she asked.  "Yup." I replied.  Suddenly Pickles jumped up and charged at my mom and jammed her head through the railing.  My mom jumped back and almost fell down the stairs.  I started laughing like crazy.  "Bad Pickles!" my mom scolded.  She went down stairs and I brought down my things for breakfast.

Pool Party

Aidan, Kyle, Me and our families were all at the Homestead.  We had all just arrived and were swimming in the pool.  We suggested a game that I could climb halfway up the water slide and everyone  else would go down and try to knock me off.  I climbed up until I reached half way.  "Ready!" I shouted to them.  Nothing happened.  Then my brother comes rocketing down the slide so fast he is a blur.  I jump up from my crouching position until I am just above is head.  He goes right under me and I prepare for the next person.  Then Aidan comes down the slide.  I expected him to come fast like my brother but he is going slower.  I jump but I jump to soon just like the batters that bat to soon in baseball when the pitcher throws them a changeup.  When I land Aidan grabs my legs and tries to pull me down with him.  I hang onto the tube on the side that squirts out the water and try to kick him off me.  I yank my legs up to my chest really hard and he releases me.  Before I am even back in my crouching position Kyle comes shooting down the slide.  He surprises me and I fall back a few feet until I grab the sides.  I am now past the end of the tube to the water makes the sides slippery to hold onto.  He grabs my foot just as I jump for the tube.  My fingers close around it as he pulls at my leg.  I slip down to the very edge of the tube until James comes down.  I already have Kyle on me so when James comes down I totally get knocked off.  We all fall into the water and are laughing.  "Let's do it again," I say "any volunteers?"

Sand Dunes (continued)

Swoosh.  I felt the air flying against my face as I ran through the dune grass.  I was running for a place that had high dune grass so I could lie down and hide.  My brother and I were running from our friend Quinlin.  We reached the the high grass and lay down.  I peaked my head above the grass and he saw us.  We leaped up and raced up to the top of the dunes.  On the top we raced down the other side.  The sharp dune grass was poking our feet and it hurt.  Quinlin reached the top just as we rounded the corner of the dune.  We were now racing along side the dunes running for the path to get out.  We reached the path and raced out.  We were now on the edge of a large bowl of sand.  On the other side of the bowl there was a path to get out.  We jumped of the ledge and raced to the other side of the bowl.  Outside there was a big hill and then there was water.  We raced down the hill and splashed through the water.  The water was up to our waist in some places and at our ankles in others.  We reached the other side and headed for the dune paths behind the waterfall.  We climbed the steep path to get to the hiding place.  We jumped down the steep hill and were right next to the river.  Then we crossed the river.  It was colder that the outlet because the water was coming from bass lake.  On the other side we climbed up the steep dune.  This side had pine trees on it so we would keep stepping on sharp pine cones.  At the top we found Quinlin waiting for us.

Paintball Party (action version)

BAM BAM BAM!  Paintballs whizzed by my head.  I was running through a painball field trying to get to the other sniper tower.  Another volley of paintballs shot by me.  I was running along side Nicolae.  We were running through a ditch in a woods.  We were trying to eliminate the other team.   POW!  A paintball hit a tree next to us.  We were half way there.  Nicolae and I ducked behind a big plywood board.  The board had some holes in it that we could shoot out of.  "3. 2. 1. GO!" I said.  We ran out from behind the board and raced to the next.  There was only 1 more board between us and the sniper tower.  We each jumped out on different sides of the board.  BAM! BAM! BAM!  We shot at the tower and the sniper returned fire.  SPLAT!  We had hit the sniper.  He walked down with his hands raised above his head.  We ran up the tower and hid behind the walls.  No one had seen us so we peeked our heads above the wall.  There were 3 people on the top of the enemies base which was below us to the right.  We opened fire.  Bullets rained down upon them.  They tried to return fire but by the time they figured out where it was coming from they had already all been shot.  Only 2 remained.  They were on the first level of the base.  We would have to come down to get them. We walked down the stairs slowly so they wouldn't here us.  Bullets launched into the first floor of the base.  Our team was firing on them.  We got to the bottom floor and walked into the base.  They were at the windows shooting at our team.  Silently we went behind them and aimed our guns.  BAM! BAM!  We shot them and our team won.  We walked down to the entrance of the course and told them that our team won.  Our group walked back along the path for 5 minutes until we reached the refill station.  We refilled our guns and headed back for another round of paintball.

It was Sunday morning and it was my friend Storms birthday.  He was having his birthday party at a paintball place called Lone Wolf Paintball.  I got on my clothes and wore an extra pair of everything so the paintballs wouldn't hurt as much.  I ate breakfast and got into the car.  I was going to be dropped of at some other peoples house to go to the party and they would take me there.  We drove down the road following the directions on their GPS.  Lone Wolf Paintball was a little over an hour away, so we would listen to music and play games on our devices.  When we finally arrived a few of the people coming to the party including Storm were already there.  We waited for everyone to arrive then got out guns and loaded them.  We could get paint grenades but they cost extra money so we didn't.  We took pictures of all of us together on some bleachers holding the paintball guns.  Then we set off for the arenas.

  There were multiple types on multiple arenas.  There was capture the flag on a place with a little castle at each side where we would keep our flag.  We would guard it and try to steal the other teams flag.  There was also elimination where the last team standing wins.  In all the games there 2 teams, but once someone from a different field crossed over the fence.

We started with a game of elimination.  Nicolae and I stayed together and we hid behind a wall right next to our base.  The wall had holes in it where we could shoot.  One time one of the dads hid right in front of our wall but in front of a tree so the people at the main base couldn't see him.  We shot him in the but and he was out.

We also played capture the flag.  There was a castle in the middle of the field that you could snipe from so it was very useful to get to it.  There also were sniping towers that were next to the flags so I would snipe anyone that came near.  On one side the sniper tower had no walls but on the other side it had walls.  I snuck over to the other

Lake Michigan

It was 10:00 and I was just getting up at my grandparents cottage.  There cottage is up north right on lake Michigan.  I put on some clothes and went to have breakfast.  We were having blueberry buckle.  It was very tasty and it had blueberries that we picked just a day or 2 before.  After breakfast we sat around a little bit and then got our bathing suits on to go down to the lake.

We started walking down our stairs to the lake.  The lake is on the bottom of a very steep hill.  There are around 76 stairs that we have to walk down to get there.  On the beach there is a lot of dune grass with a path in it for us to get through to the beach.  There was a storm a few weeks ago the made the beach just be cliffs and now there is only about 5 feet of beach left.  We dug a big ramp down to what is left of the beach so we didn't have to use a ladder.  The cliffs were 12 feet high in some places.  We would stomp on the tops of cliffs so there would be soft sand under them and then jump into the sand.  The water was cold but we would still swim in it.  We had a buoy that used to be about 30 yards out but since the water came up it is now around 50 yards out.  We would like to take a giant 10 ft by 10 ft tube out and tie it to the buoy and play around on it.  When big waves would come we would stand on it and try to stay on but usually we would get knocked off.  The water wasn't very deep at the buoy but it was almost up to our heads.

The Homestead

Over the Summer my family, the Whitalls and the Corneliuses went to the Homestead.  The Homestead is a fresh water resort on Lake Michigan.  One Night at the Homestead, Aidan, James, Kyle, me, Zane, and all the dads climbed the ski slope very late at night.  The night was cloudless and we could slightly see the Milkyway.  We saw the big dipper, a lot of satellites, a big flash of light that one of the dads thought was a quasar, and two shooting stars.  We even saw Saturn or Mars.

We stayed up there for 20 minutes and then came down.  We hadn't brought flashlights up and by the time we went down it was pitch black and the start were shining incredibly bright.  By then we could see the spiral of the Mlikyway very well.  Mr. Cornelius turned on these wolf calls from his phone so it sounded like there were wolves all around us.  All the boys had a race to the bottom of the hill, but since the grass was fake and wet it got very slippery and Kyle and I fell and got dirty.  We reached the bottom and went back to the Whitalls cabin to hangout a bit.  After and hour or so we went back to our own cabins and then went to bed.

Website Crashing Code

Website crashing can be fun because people will get extremely annoyed.  If you ever wanted the crash someones website then all you have to do is type in this code and wait for about 10-20 minutes.  You operate it by typing in the website URL (http:// or https:// not included) and press enter.  It will ping the website with so much data the website will not be able to process the data and send  it back in time.  Then the website becomes really slow because it is working so hard returning the ping data.  Then to end the crashing press CTRL + C.

Secure Folder

This is a secure folder that is invisible and can only be accessed by this batch program.  First go to your desktop and right click the background.  Then hover over new and press text document.  Then do the same thing except create a new folder instead of a text document.  Open the folder and put the text document in.  Then right click the folder and select properties.  Near the bottom of the properties page there will be a check box with the word hidden right next to it.  Check the box and press apply and when the dialogue box comes up, select the answer that says this folder and all of the sub folders etc.  Then go to the desktop and make another new text document.  This time save it as pass.bat .  At the places where it says <username goes here> put your username and at the places where it says <password goes here> put your password.  At the part where it says <name of folder goes here> paste the name of your folder (C:\Users\Tate\Desktop\Secret-Folder).  You can not put a space in the folder name or it will not work.  Right click the document and paste this code into it.

The program will open the folder and then you can put stuff into it.  If you get the password wrong twice it will shutdown the computer so people can't keep trying.

Admin

Just so everyone knows the admin trick is only for windows computers and there is another way to do it.

Press windows key and r together and it will open the run program.  Then type cmd into the box and click ok.  This will open cmd (Command Prompt).  Then type in.

net localgroup administrators USERNAME /add

You need to make the USERNAME your username for the computer.  This will either make you an admin or deny your access.

How to make yourself an admin

If you want to become an admin on a computer then just type the following code into notepad and save it as Admin.bat  The only reason you have to put the pause is to check if the access is denied and so you don't have to keep trying to get a screenshot of it.

How to get mods version 2

Do not do this with skydaz.com

This is the second easiest way to get mods in Minecraft and it is NOT only for windows. First search up the mod you want and when you think you have found the right site then download the mod. Once you have the mod you must get to the minecraft.jar in your computer files. If you are using windows then the easiest way to find it is to search up %appdata% is the search bar in the windows explorer then click on roaming then click on minecraft.jar. After you have gotten to minecraft.jar then go to the mods folder in it. Go to your downloads folder on a different tab and grab the folder of the mod and place it in the mods folder. Then you have to run Minecraft and play it on the forge profile.

Today I am going to show you how to get some Operating Systems (OS) in the Ubuntu series.  First enter http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop in the URL bar.  Then select the version you need of it.  Then press download.  Skip all the donation parts unless you want to donate and go to the link that says not now take me to the download.  It should automatically download within 10 seconds.  Once you have downloaded it open it and press the next button until it lets you pick which version of it you want (Ubuntu, MythBuntu, EdBuntu etc.).  Ubuntu is the best and most advanced version.  Wait for it to install then restart your computer.  When you turn it on there should be an option list that has the OS you just installed and your old windows one.  Press the down arrow and press enter.  You password will be the same as the windows one.  That is all for today.

How to get mods for Minecraft

Today I will show you how to get mods in Minecraft.  There are different ways to do this.  I am going to show you 1 easy way.

THIS IS ONLY FOR WINDOWS COMPUTERS!!!

Step 1.  Goto www.skydaz.com
Step 2. Find the mod you want and make sure it is for the version of Minecraft you use.
Step 3. Click on it and go to the download links right above the comments.

Step 4. Click on the second download link.

Step 5. It will take you to adfly and you must wait 5 seconds then click the skip add button in the top right corner.

Step 6. Go to your downloads folder then click on the zipped folder containing the launcher and open the launcher.

Step 7. A pop-up box will appear and you must click extract.
Step 8. Open the extracted launcher and click the big green Add Mod button.
Step 9. The mod will install and you just have to open minecraft.

HTML Lessons part 20

In this lesson I am going to teach you how to use the <span> tag.  The span tag is used for special styling inside a paragraph.  You can make multiple different spans like this <span2> <span3> and so on.  You can code it like this.

HTML Lessons part 19

In this lesson I am going to teach you how to use the <table> tag but only the basics of it.  This is how to code a table.

</table>

The <tr> element is a row of data cells and the <td> tag is one of the datacell/columns.  You can add more than one row.  You can also style it.  If you want to style the whole row then put the style in the <tr> but is you want is only in the datacell the just put it in the <td>.  That is all for today!

HTML Lessons part 18

In this lesson I will teach you how to use the <link> tag.  The link tag is an empty element just like the <img> tag.  The <link> tag is a link to a CSS stylesheet.  CSS is Cascading Style Sheets.  CSS is used instead of using the <style> tag.  The link goes in the head.  You make the link like this.

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="something.css">

What you have to do is make a CSS document is code it then save is with a .CSS extension.  Then right click the CSS file.  Click open with and select a browser besides Internet Explorer.  The copy the URL of the CSS document into the place with the crossed out text in the code above.  It will add the special styling that could also go  in the style tag.  That is all for today.

HTML Lessons part 17

In this lesson I will teach you how to make the <style> tag.  The style tag goes inside the head of an HTML document.  <style> is used instead of <p style="font-size: 50px"> and so on.  Inside the style element you write the code in CSS like this.

font-size: 20px; color: green;

}

</style>

The 'p' tells it which tag you want is to change and it changes all <p> tags to look like that.

You can also do it with h1-h6 span and others.
If you try to do 'a' for links it changes all of the text to that style not links.  Just make sure you put the <style> tags inside the head or it will not work.  That is all for today.

In this lesson I will teach you how to add Javascript to your webpage.  It is very easy all you have to do is out the <script> tag is your webpage then in between the 2 tags write the Javascript.

In this lesson I will teach you how to make buttons like this.
To make buttons you need to code it like this.

<button type="button">Click Me!</button>

This will make a normal button.  To make a button like the one at the top you should do a code like this.

<button type="button" onclick="alert('Hello world!')">Click Me!</button>

That one will make it say "Hello world" is a pop up box.  You have to add type="button" for it to know.  You can also make buttons links by putting in the link tag like this.

In this lesson I will teach you how to make scrolling text.  This tag is very simple.  It does not go inside the <p> tag like most special text things do.  It is the <marquee>  You make it like this.

HTML Lessons part 13

In this lesson I will teach you how to make the <iframe> tag.  Iframe stands for inline frame.  An iframe is like a webpage inside another webpage.  I will demonstrate one.  In this image I have put an iframe of GameStar Mechanic.

I will show you how to make an <iframe>.

The src is where you put the URL of a website.  You have to put the HTTP also.  Width is for the width and height is for the height.  There is no length.
scrolling can be yes no or auto or you could just leave it out.  You can also add seamless at the end of the tag so it blends into the page better.  There are more attributes of the iframe tag that you can see if you click this link.  Click Me!

In this lesson you are going to learn about drop-down menus.  Drop down menus only work on Google Chrome, Opera, and Safari.  They do not work on Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox.  Drop-down menus are made with the <details> tag and the <summary> tag.  The summary tag is like the title of the menu.  This is how to code them.

HTML Lessons part 8

In this lesson you are going to learn about pictures.  You probably already know what a picture is so I will teach you how to upload it into your document.  First you must find the image you want on Google images or Bing or some other pictures.  Then you need to copy the URL like this.  Right click the image you want.

Once you have the URL copied you need to make the tag like this.

HTML Lessons part 7

In this lesson I am going to teach you 4 different tags <b> and <i> and <u> and <strike>.  <b> makes text bold.  <i> makes text italic.  <u> makes text underlined.  <strike> makes text have a strike through it.  You need to insert these tags in a paragraph like this.
<p>Hi this text is <b>bold</b>!</p>
If you want you can add multiple of these tags.
<p><b><i>Hi</b></i> your name is <strike>Bob</strike> <u>John</u></p>
You can also add styles to the paragraph and tags like this.
