Unbroken

Most of you reading this post have prabably read Unbroken.  For those of you who haven't, you need to read it.  I couldn't put it down and I was up tell past 11:30 reading.  It is about Louie Zamperini, who is a trouble maker.  Later in his life he becomes an olympic runner.  Then he is drafted for the war.  He signs up to by an airman and flies a b-24 bomber plane.  His plane crashed and he is stuck on a raft for 47 days with nother to eat or drink except fish he catches and rainwater.  He is captured by the Japanese and tortured.  That is how far I have read.  YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK!!!

3D Games

Last year, I used to play games a lot on my computer.  I liked to play games like Minecraft, Wizard101, and once even Roblox.  Now I don't play those games and I usually just play games on my moms phone.  I really wan to get a phone so I can use it instead of my moms.  I will have to wait for next year and I am probably going to get an IPhone 4S.

Supernatural

A TV show I like watching is Supernatural.  It is a kind of scary show but it can also be funny.  It is about 2 brothers, whose mom was killed by a demon, and they have no idea where there dad is.  They hunt down creatures like demons, vampires, spirits, changelings and more.  I'm gonna watch an episode right after this post so that is why I am writing about it.

In the book Wonder (wonder book) by R.J. Palacio (author), Auggie has a facial

deformity (facial deformity) and people do not like that (people not liking something).  He is bullied (bullying) a lot at school (school) and I think this story is about Auggie (auggie) trying to fit in at school (fitting in at school).  Eventually most people are nice (being nice) to him but at the beginning of the story, it is a nightmare (nightmare) for Auggie.  People always look away from him when they see him.  When people see him for the first time they will be shocked (shocked face) or surprised.  People are mean to him a lot and they will call him names (teasing) or leave mean notes on his locker (locker).  There are many other things that people will do that are rude or mean to Auggie but these three are the only ones I am going to explain in this essay.  Because of all this I think people think Auggie is strange (strange).

Throughout the story people are always looking (looking away) away from Auggies's face whenever they see him.  They also stare (staring) at him a lot too.  For example on page 22 the author writes "Jack Will looked at me and put out his hand (hand).  When I shook it, he kind of half smiled and said 'Hey' and looked down (looking down) really fast."  Jack Will looked down and that shows that people don't want to look at his face because of the deformity.  People will always stare (stare) at him too.  Sometimes in the park (park) or at school people just stare at him with their mouth open (mouth open staring).  That is very rude because if he sees them he will know they think he is strange and it will make him feel bad (sad face).

When people see (seeing/looking) him for the first time they will be shocked (shocked face) or surprised.  On page 63 the author writes "he got a look at my face and without even meaning to said “Whoa!" (shocked face with whoa word)  This shows that people do get shocked when they look at his face.  The 8th grader was surprised when he saw Auggie (auggie) for the first time as he was running down the stairs (stairs).  That is why he said that (whoa word) even though he didn’t mean to.  It was rude to Auggie for him to do that because it will make Auggie feel bad (sad face) because someone was freaked (freaked out) out just by looking at him.

People are mean (mean stuff) to him a lot in the book (book).  They will ask mean or rude questions (question asking) and call him names. They will also pretend that he has some plague (plague) and you can't touch him or else you will catch it and you have to wash your hands (washing hands) within 30 seconds or you will catch it too.  On page 29 the author writes:  "What’s the deal with your face, I mean were you in a fire or something. (fire)'"  This shows that people are mean to him.  It shows that because Julian was asking a mean and rude (mean question) question about his face.  But there are also nice people (nice people).  One time Auggie made a joke and a person left a doll (ugly doll) in his locker with a note on it.  There are also a lot of other nice people like JackWill and Summer and others.

iPad stuff

Awesome Adventure Park

Last year, around August I went to an adventure park in the woods with my friends.  It was a zipline place where you ziplined from one tower to another.  There were also obstacles that you had to get past in order to complete the course.  First, you climb up onto a platform and choose which course you want to go on.  Then once you were on the course you go past the obstacles and zipline to somewhere else.  At the end of one course there was a very tall tower that you had to jump from.  You attached yourself to a pulley and it slowed you down when you were near the bottom.  It is called West Bloomfield Adventure Park.  It was a very fun experience, and I want to do it again and do more courses than last time.

IPhone 100

Apple will be releasing the new IPhone 100 this summer.  It will be 100 ft long and you will have to roll it up.  It costs very little, and it is massive.  If you cut little strips off, it will still work and they are very light.  You can paste it onto cardboard to make it into little phones.  It can be very useful, but the problem is it rips easily.

Wubi

Wubi is a software that you can download and it can give you a dual-boot operating system computer.  That means when you start the computer up it will have a options screen that will say "choose your operating system."  Then 2 options will come up.  Ubuntu and windows.  This will only work with windows unless you find a mac version or something.  With wubi you can get Ubunntu, Edbuntu, Mythbuntu and many others.  Ubuntu is the most advanced version and I would recommend that you get it if you are going to use this.  If you don't want the dual-boot anymore, you can just go to "programs and files" then delete wubi.exe (or it could say Ubuntu or one of the others).

Math

Today I had some easy math in school.  The problem with it was that you had to do a lot of work.  I understood it but it still took me forever to do 20 problems.  It was about slope intercept form and stuff related to that.  Also the BCS tennis team has started and I am on it.  I was put in the top 5 sixth graders so I will get to play in matches.  My doubles partner is Aidan.

Stuff

Write now, as I am writing this post, my mouse is disabled.  I have to use the arrow keys and the tab key to get around.  It is very annoying.  So,  I have over 3.5K pageviews.  And this is my 245th post.  I am gonna go to bed write after I write this because I am tired.

Drones

Now I have gotten 2 drones and both of them have broken.  One of them was this really good one with video and pictures and a very big remote controller.  You could even make it do 4 kinds of flips.  Then that one broke.  Later I got this microdrone.  It broke too.

Vampires

I was walking up to a vampire, with a stake held behind my back.  He noticed me and started rushing at me.  I pulled the stake out and ran at him.  He kept running towards me and I stabbed him in the heart with the stake.  He fell on the ground and died.  Then he died again.  Three more vampires came out of the shadows.
"You killed our friend!" they shouted in unison.

Engage

In school, I have this new engage unit about photo editing.  It looks fun.  We were shown some before and after pictures and they looked really cool.  I really want to use photo shop but it might cost to much money.  😢  I think photo shop is one of the best photo editors out there.  It has so many features, but it is a little complicated.  I hope I can make some really awesome pictures.

Bat2Exe

I have had this program on my old computer for a long time.  Now I have put it on my new computer.  The program is Bat2Exe.  What it does is it turns batch files into executable files.  This is useful for many reasons.  If you were making it be a password lock and you didn't want people to press edit and see the password, you could use this.  When it is in .EXE form it is encrypted so the user will not be able to read the data.  A batch command could go from normal batch, to r7asg or something like that.  Also it looks a lot more professional.

Funnyness

My friend Daniel was making a post on his blog, and he did this funny post.  He was posting on an Ipad with IOS 8 so when you tyoe there are the word buttons right above the keyboard.  What he did was he kept clicking the middle one until a funny story came out.  It made very little sense.  Now I just got this IDEA, and I am going to make a batch program that has a big list of words and it is randomly going to choose words and make some weird story.  Once I make it I will send you the code.

Icons

If you ever want to get customized icons that you can put on your desktop, then read this post and you can find out how.  At first when I tried to do this, I just changed the file type of a JPEG picture to an ICO icon file.  Then I tried using it for an icon, but it didn't work.  Later I went on the internet and searched up "icon converter."  I clicked on the first result.  It took me to converticon.com.  On converticon, you select a picture then press convert, and it will convert it into an icon for you.  After that, go to a shortcut that you want to change.  Then you right click it and select properties.  On the properties window, go on the shortcut tab and click change icon.  On there go and find your icon.  Then all you have to do is save it.

Right now I am going to show you how to make it look like something is loading in batch.  So you have to use the timeout command and set it to nul so the person reading it doesn't know it is happening.  This is a basic one.

Number Generator

I am working on a batch number generator that will generate a lot of random numbers then save them to a file on your computer so you can use them for later use like doing a simulation or something like that.

My Computer

For some reason the time on my computer is very messed up.  Right now when I am writing this post it is 8:03 PM Eastern Time.  On my computer it is 6:07 AM.  That is a pretty big difference.  The other thing about my computer is that it has magnets inside of it to keep it closed.  At first I thought I had put a magnet on the computer and something bad would happened but then I realized it happened with paper clips and other metals too.  Thankfully not I know.

How to Break Through Combination Locks

This post is kind of a joke off of my other post on how to pick locks.  It there is a combination lock that doesn't have a key hole then this is how you break through it.  Just follow these simple steps and become a lock smashing genius.
Step 1: Find a lock.
Step 2: Find a fire extinguisher.
Step 3: Hold the fire extinguisher in both hands over your head.
Step 4: Use all your strength and bring the fire extinguisher down on the lock as hard as you can.
Step 5: Remove the broken lock from the locker.
Step 6: Open the locker.
Step 7: If anyone sees you, shoot them with the fire extinguisher.
Step 8: Go home and eat nachos.

Pie or Pi

This week on Saturday it will be international Pi day.  At 9:26 in the morning it will be the closest we can get to Pi until 2115.  It will be 3.1415926 it is the first 8 digits of Pi.  Also my aunt made this really good cherry apple pie that was two times better than any pie I had ever had before.

Annoying Popup

On my computer, I downloaded Java and since then popups have been coming up saying "There is a new update available for java!".  At first I would just close them and ignore them but eventually I decided to update it so the messages would go away.  When the message opened up, I clicked Update.  It started loading and then it said "No updates available!".  When I saw that I really got angry.  Why would it tell me to update it if there wasn't even an update.  The only reason I wrote this post was because when I was getting on to blogger, it popped up on my screen.

Today I have made the video of how to pick locks.  It shows you how to pick locks with just two paper clips.  I learned how to do this a month ago when I lost the key to my safe (which is the safe in the video).  I found it 10 minutes later.  I had to upload the video in low def because it hi def was to much space.

Annoying Stuff on my Website

Now I tried to make a files page on my website but whenever I click on the it justs says 404 error.  So now I can't post files on a separate page of my site.

Hot Tub

Over break in Canada we had a ski in ski out condo and there was a hot tub in the back.  We would jump out of the hot tub and roll in the snow.  When we would get back in the hot tub, it would burn us because the snow was freezing then the hot tub was 105 degrees.  We would be screaming really loudly and we got it on video.  It was hilarious.

Lock Picking

I learned how to pick locks about a month ago when I lost the key to my safe (I have found it).  It is actually quite simply to pick most locks.  I got it on my fourth try.  All you need is to turn the lock to the right and put some pressure on it then start pushing the pins up.  The pins will stick in the proper position once they are put there as long as you are putting some turning pressure on the lock.  I will make a video soon and put a link to it on here.  I'm sorry I can't show you how properly with words but a video will make it easier to see.

Math

Math is evil. A day or 2 ago I had this homework about simulations using random numbers and they gave me the numbers in groups of 5 so I had to sort them into groups of 2 and it took forever.  Homework is really awful.

Incredible Break

I had an awesome break.  I went skiing in Canada with my cousins.  It was down to -20 degrees C not including wind chill.  It was freezing on the top of the mountain but it wasn't to bad on the bottom so we would be super warmly dressed and then start sweating on the bottom but then at the top I was really cold.  One of my cousins had a Go Pro but it was tilted down so you couldn't see anything on the videos. :(   We had a ski in ski out condo so we could just step out the door and put on our skis and just get right on the hill. It was the funnest skiing experiences in my life.

Wonder Essay

In the book Wonder by R.J. Palacio, Auggie has a facial deformity and people do not like that.  He is bullied a lot at school and I think this story is about Auggie trying to fit in at school.  Eventually most people are nice to him but at the beginning of the story, it is a nightmare for Auggie.  People always look away from him when they see him.  When people see him for the first time they will be shocked or surprised.  People are mean to him a lot and they will call him names or leave mean notes on his locker.  There are many other things that people will do that are rude or mean to Auggie but these three are the only ones I am going to explain in this essay.  Because of all this I think people think Auggie is strange.

That hardly takes any time at all and isn't a very good use of their time.  Also a lot of time they use bad spelling so it can be fun reading some of the longer posts on one of my friends blogs.  Like their was one post about the Hunger Games and the spelling was so bad it was hilarious.  I think you should write posts about this long at least.  The very strange thing is that they have spell checker on the internet so I don't even know how they don't notice their errors.

"It's not safe here." I said. "We need to leave before they come back."

We walked over to the door and looked through the peep hole.

"All clear." Bob shouted.

We rushed out of the building and watched for any movement.  Splash.  A small stone skittered across a rooftop and fell in a small puddle of water.  We aimed our guns up to the spot that it fell from.  Nothing moved.  Then a zombie fell off the roof and charge at bob.  BANG BANG.  Bob blasted the zombies head off but the zombie kept coming.
"RUN!" I shouted.
We ran down the alley and past the zombies at the corner.  We now had 4 or 5 zombies chasing us and the group was gaining by the minute.
"Over there!" Bob shouted.
We ducked behind a wall and the zombies ran past us.  There was a pharmacy next to us so we went in.  Inside everything was over turned but we had to find medicine.  Medicine would kill zombies because it would start to heal them and make them human.  We found the medicine isle but all of it was gone.  We found a few empty bottles but not enough to get rid of zombies.  We decided to stay there for the night.  Bob went and got some food from the food section.  It was almost gone so he wasn't able to find much.  Just a few loafs of bread and some chicken noodle soup.  We the electricity was out so we couldn't cook the soup in the microwave, we would have to make a fire.  The one problem with that is that the fire could attract zombies.

You can mess around with the WScript.Sleep to get it to the right speed for your computer so it doesn't go so fast that the refreshes don't count.

VBS Sendkeys Special Key Codes

Here are all the key codes in VBS for special keys like CTRL F4 ALT and other keys like that.  You use it with the sendkeys command.  This is how you do the send keys comand.  First you need to make the variable, then you can use sendkeys as much as you want without adding anymore variables.

MxNitro

If you have read one of my recent posts you know that I found a really fast web browser called Maxthon Cloud Browser or Mx4.  Well when that browser starts up it has an automatic homepage that is Maxthon's website.  One day on that website I saw an add for one of their newer browsers, Maxthon Nitro or MxNitro.  It is even faster than Mx4 and it was built to be the fastest browser ever.  It is very simple so it can go faster.  They have removed large extra unneeded programs like adblockers and extensions or backgrounds.  They have also taken away almost all extra features on the toolbar or settings (There actually is pretty much no settings.).  I put a download link to Mx4 and MxNitro below.
